Family photos

Today we went to the museum and Jones saw another family take photos with their timer and he asked if we could too.  This was the result.  Imperfect but yet perfect.  I should have made family photos a goal, I think I am unofficially adding it.  We need more pics of us like this.  

We also took this below one of our shadows I was watching the kids watch their shadows as we walked back to the car.  Jones is cracking me up

April family photos

In April I took one family photo.  A terrible selfie.  But we were at the park having fun. So still good.

I remembered a few times about family photos it's hard to intergrate adding in the baby.  And Jonesy can be moody or confused.  But we're still trying.  This first one is from Dustin birthday hotel stay.  Jonesy was struggling with sleeping.

This next one is from a trip to the park.  Jones was angry about leaving the basketball court. 

Egg dying.  This was fun.

There's a whole bunch from Easter lots from our egg hunt at the farm.  And then some from our picnic in the park.

December Family Photos

This months photos were all about Christmas.  We did lots of Christmas activities in Decemeber and I remembered to take family shots even if it was just selfies.  This rounds up the photos of us from this 2015 I think I may print these all in books.

Family Photos - September Take 2

October Family Photos

In October I was not so good at family photos.  Although we did a ton of things as a family I just need to get better at saying "family selfie" or asking someone to take it.  I did get two shots one at church on our anniversary they took family photos - we didn't match and well I am pretty sure I didn't brush my hair that day either but it's us.

And then I snapped this one of the three of us sleeping in obviously I was fake sleeping, but I love how jones covered his face.   

Both shots were taken before Dustin had to shave for his new job so November photos will have a much more groomed Dustin.   

May family photos

May was an extremely busy month one of my projects deployed and one of them was about to launch a new program, Dustin was extra busy at work despite the new schedule.  We also seemed to have lots of people staying at the house. But we squeezed in some family snaps so I love it.  Above dinner at Bynums another one also below more candid.

April 2015 - Family Photos

The beginning of April Dustin worked worked worked and we didn't see him much but we did snag the above selfie him on the way to work and us getting ready to play.

We went to Colorado in the middle of the month and got a few more.  Here we are in the reflection of the mirror bubble wall at the Denver Children's museum.

And outside casa Bonita we are all blurry.

And family + auntie Lo and uncle Jono counts too.  Note large broom shoot also blurry.

And then we did get a few others of just us like these guys.  I will have to share more from our trip to Colorado soon.  I am behind on blogging just like walking 1000 miles.

March 2015 - Monthly Family Photos

In March I remembered to capture photos of all three of us.  It started with jonesys first adventure in the snow.  Then to the first birthday party that wasn't family.   

And then after a walk - fyi the first 3 photos mom took for us this day my head was missing.

And then a timer shot in Cincinnati. Never mind Jonesys missing head.

And Kathleen snapped a few for us in Nashville.  I love these maybe more than the professional ones from February because these are real life us captured in doing family things.  Here's to more of this in April.

2015 Family Photos February

So in February I did get photos because we had them taken by our friend Miranda Gabbard (of Miranda Gabbard Photography).  We went to the Federal Building where we actually had our wedding photos taken I think it's a neat contrast from when we got married to now.  We also went to the library.

Dustin looks so tired and my roots need a touch up but I think this represents our life in Feb 2015. So I like it.

I also took one other family photo myself.  A selfie snow day (jones eating the snow and the light blinding us - lol!)
