5 - Royal Icing Cookies

I wanted to make fancier cookies like a Pinterest project but sometimes you settle for what your 3 & 5 year old can handle.  The royal icing is harder to work with than i anticipated too.  It’s either runny or too thick hard to get in right consistency. And overall they weren’t terrible.  

39 - play date with Brooks

Over the weekend we had a quick play date with my nephew.  He and Thea are already besties running around and acting silly.  This was probably the third time we got to hang with him this year.  But I am only just now checking it off my list.

Thanksgiving

For thanksgiving we invited over people who had families in other cities.  I cooked the meal with help from my kids and lita.  It was fun to prepare.  Everyone had fun and enjoyed the meal.  I just wish we had a bigger house to invite more people.  

Now can anyone tell me why stuffing is only a good made like two times per year??? It’s sooo good?? 

50 - Christmas Lights

One of my goals was to see Christmas lights.  I love doing this.  Before thanksgiving we went and saw the lights at Pyramid Hill.  Not my favorite light display but still so pretty. I appreciate that most of this display is purely lights.  We will probably hit up a few more displays.
