32 - Riverside Park playground 4

So we tried to hit the other playground at Riverside the one next to the pool and the fancy new colts exercise playground but part of it was closed so instead we did the little playground where a family was having s big picnic and did provide us music.
Jones pretty much wanted to swing the entire time we were there both in the baby swings and the big kid ones.
He did also go down the slide like twice.  And Lynley and Kathleen met us and the babies played in the shade.
Overall the playground was good but a little to big kid probably for Jonesy.

32 - Christian Park playground 3

For the record this is actually playground 3, one was up in Carmel we went for a birthday party, and one was Southeast way park both were good playgrounds but not close.
Christian Park however is literally like 2 miles from our house.  We stopped at the playground bit for like 2 minutes but it was sweltering hot like 93 degrees humidity 95% so we hit the splash park which is right next to the playground.
I took no photos at the playground but I am pretty sure we will be back.  I do want to point out that this splash park is free and not with a pool which is fun however it makes for changing babies out of wet clothes a little awkward.  Thea however enjoyed the splash park as well siting on the side with a little splash hitting her and watching big kids run by.
I was pleasantly surprised though the park was very clean and the other kids who were bigger were nice enough to include jones in their games.  Note:  Jones loves splash parks and plays so hard and so joyfully when in the water.  He literally laid on top of a sprayer, and under the giant spill bucket.  And my favorite was him doing push-ups with much older boys in the spray.
We will be back again soon new park.

8 - Unfinished Quilt Improv Circles

This might be my new favorite quilt.  Especially the back.  The improv circles ended up resembling eyeballs a little but I still find them cool.  I also love the color pallet and fabrics in this one.  The quilting is random lines.  These improv circles wasted tons of fabric and I used some of the little bits of scraps that came off in the back and that is my favorite part.
I made another tag this time I stitched it before I added it in was much easier than last time.

30 - Make and Eat Salad 3:10 avocado egg salad

So I don't like mayo or mustard so I dislike egg salad so I thought why not try and make it myself with something else.  And boom it was successful and yummy.
So here's my salad:
3 chopped hard boiled eggs only one yolk (I removed the yolk of two for less cholesterol)
3 tablespoons guacamole (I used leftovers but it could have been made)
Salt and Pepper
Instructions mix
Yep that's it.
I didn't have bread so I put it on a bagel. It was more than enough for two sandwiches.  And I rather enjoyed the mix.  Our Guac had salsa and cilantro and lime in it and I think that made it more interesting.

45- Her Baby Book

On my list this year is make Thea a baby book.  I want to try and write down more stories.  So far I have a handful of them. But I am up to three months in Theas baby book.  I bought her a gold album 6x8 and some gold embellishments and I cranked out a bunch of pages.

7 - Quilt for baby Thea

It's not her nursery quilt but you know I finished a quilt for baby Thea finally.  It's my second finish of the year.  The top is composed of scraps mostly 2.5" squares - these pieces were tooooo small in my opinion as I needed way more just to make a baby quilt.  The quilt is not exactly square either as I need a new cutting mat Jonesy has been using my large one for his crafts and it's got a whole new funk to it now.  The quilting is completely random and someplace in there I signed it but I also put a tag on the quilt for her.
The quilt has super good pucker too it and Jonesy has already tried to take it as it's similar to his favorite quilt.
The back is just one solid rainbow print from my stash I actually had 5 to chose from but I like this option.
And here's a close up of the tag. I hand stitch my name on a scrap of fabric.  I think moving forward I will try and use a stiff fabric and maybe embroidery floss but I was in a hurry.
