London Again...

One last one from london and then we see Dover and Stonehenge. For the record we enjoyed england but it seemed that we liked the areas outside of London better than the city. By far the people of ireland have to be the nicest - perhaps our tazi cab driver frim nigeria summed it up best. It's because they are poor that's what makes them friendly. Anyhow here's some of our photos from London.
The tube - we did so enjoy riding the trains and yes the rumor is true I did jump on a train and leave Jono at the station. But in all fairness the train was full and the doors were closing.
random city shot.
another bridge - london has lots of them.
A shot from up in the tower bridge.
Jono and I at the tower of london. not sure why the heck we look possessed.
An umbrella sculpture. It rained like 75% of the time we were in London although the sun did come out our last day.
Buckingham palace. The queen did not invite us in for tea and crumpets.
The tower of London.
Gates of buckingham palace.
JJ try not to be jealous but there are waffle places everywhere and street vendors selling waffles too. you would have been in heaven unforunately we did not try the waffle dog but we did have a few waffles.

London

I was going to blog about today but Jonathan said I must go in order. So here's some from our adventures in London. We've trampled to most of the tourist spots we took a tour which was not as good as the one in Dublin. I'd recommend just walking it yourself or going on the Tube from place to place. So here's some pics...
From the london eye.
Tower Brigde. I love the peacock blue I'm sad they are repainting it for the oymplics.
street music.
jonathan is getting beheaded.
Trafalgar Square which is partially under construction
Picaddilly Circus.
Me and Big Ben
Jonathan and the London Eye

More soon...

Wales

We didn't get much time in Wales however we were able to get a fast virgin train to London which was a good thing as we didn't actually have plans for how we were getting into london from Wales we just set sail from Dublin. The Ferry was delightful we slept most of the trip in our cabin but let me just say the irish made good use of the time partying a good portion of them took the ferry over to drink and then were taking it right back. At 11 am when we landed in Wales I think 1/2 the foot passengers were buzzed. We did get to wander around Holyhead for a bit though and it's quite delightful. The people there are the most cheerful the guy in the casino we went in put 20pounds in the slot machine for us since I didn't know how to play. And the restaurant owner was equally great I think our lunch was 10 pounds but should have been like 15. He did also enjoy that we put a Indiana dot on his map of travelers. Anyhow here's a few photos...

Me at the train station.

Jono at this seaside church on this cliff very cool building.

Dublin

I don't have much juice left in this laptop battery and the converter is upstairs in our room. But I thought I would share a few snaps from our trip so far.
Not sure what this is called but it's in Dublin's city center. Jono at St. Patrick's Cathedrale - it is beautiful weather here 60 degrees and sunny blue skies the irish keep telling us too many days like this and they'll be complaining of a heat wave.

Lovely doors.

I lit a candle at st. patrick's cathedrale. you can sort of see the aweseome windows the place has.

Another view of the cathedrale

Jono double-fisting at Guinness. Joe we so wished you were here as you would have enjoyed Gmuch more than us as.
Our feet someplace I think at the church.

Guinness - who by the way has the lease on the property where the statehouse is for 9000 years (who makes leases like that seriously?)
A view of Dublin from the skybar at Guinness.

Good Morning Ramble

Jono and I are leaving for Ireland & the UK in like 72 hours I cannot wait. I love travel miles. Grandpa if you are reading this shoot me an email about where the Kelly family is from in Ireland and maybe we can see some of their old stomping grounds and meet other Kellys?
I continue to be rambling on about work (boring) but we are putting my big project to rest when I get back from vacation so perhaps I'll be having daily adventures then I miss those. Of course then my other projects will get big but I'll enjoy my few minutes of fun.
The chain of love. Is now offically closed - I think I'm at six Jodie, Kellie, Mom, Lubie, Kim and Aunt Thea. - Lubie and Kellie you can still play because I said so!
And because every good blog has a pic. Here's a few oldies that are on my laptop (for the record I have moved off most of them so I can get those pics of the day up).
And here I am as one of the worlds fattest babies. I know I'm laying down but I think this is the beginnings of me not being able to sit lady like for more than two minutes. I'm pulling up dress and showing off some leg. Oh my.

EO sent this one to Jono - I think it's hilarous. Look at Jono's pants and I'm not sure Joe gets the concept of bunny ears he's giving them to himself. LOL. Left to Right we have my friend Beth, AE in front of her, Me (with the mess of hair), Cherub, Jono, Joe, & Rocky. I wonder where JJ is? This is pre-Lita but JJ should have been around.
And one slightly more recent downtown chicago circa 1998. Look I really can't stand like a normal person. I am the one on the left.
